Digital Photography and Media Group

These Groups combine to meet each Thursday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm, generally at Hilderstone Village Hall.

The Digital Photography group is helping the members improve their photography through a better understanding of the various photographic techniques.

We set ourselves regular projects and go out on occasional field trips where we can put these into practice. The members can also learn from each others' different approaches to the same subject.

Critiques of our photographs also help us to improve our work.

The group is helping the members with the processing of their images: manipulation to improve the quality of the photograph or indeed, substantially change it.

            Learning Photoshop Elements

The Digital Media group is helping the members with using their images in presentations, calendars, cards etc.

The processing of still images and video clips into video presentations is also included.

We cover ink jet printing techniques and IT photography related matters.
