Our next Garden Group Meeting is on Friday 3rd February at Walton Community Centre at 10.30. Our speaker Jan Greenwood, is an International speaker. She will be giving a talk on Herbs both Culinary and Aesthetic. Everyone is welcome.
Our next Garden Group Event is Visit to Sugnall for snowdrops walk on 17th February 2012.

The Discovery Award is a scheme very similar to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme for youngsters except that this is only for the over 50’s.
The first meeting of the Stone U3A Discovery Award group will take place on Friday next - Jan 27th at the Coffee Morning at Stone Station from 10.00am -12.00 noon. Anyone interested in finding out about the scheme is welcome to attend

Stafford U3A Barn Dance
Those of you who prefer an Old-time BARN DANCE to ballroom then the date for you is Friday 9 March at The Polish White Eagle Club, 7.30 - 11.30. The caller for the evening is Geoff Payne. The September Computer Course for Beginners has now been successfully completed and those attending have gone on to join others to do the Basic Course in Computer. This will be a further 4 week course in how to look after and use your computer. Number on each 4 week course is 10 and the cost is £8.
The intention is to run another course of 4 weeks in November but currently we do not have any interest. If you want to improve your computer skills and knowledge then contact Roy Clark, clark.roy2@yahoo.co.uk Based on the number of enquires received will determine the course content. We do intend to run a further 4 week course in the new year.
