The Committee Meeting has decided to make a clear distinction between Activities and Social Events. An activity is a generally meeting with a Group Leader, which is based on sharing knowledge and stimulates an interest in a academic subject or acquires a skill or through some physical activity improves fitness levels. An event is more social in nature, generally a one-off event led by an organiser.
Activities are to be found on the Activities page and Social Events on the Events page.
